swim love and fashion fame.

it's a funny thing to help someone live out their dream. ever since i met nicole, she's talked about starting her own swimwear line, and now here she is, just a few years later, actually doing it. and, if i may say, succeeding at it. for the past few months, i've been doing my best to help nicole out with the sales and marketing end of her new business, and it's been a crazy amount of fun. i'm so happy to be able to help out a friend, but i have to admit; i'm most excited about the free-suits-for-life program that i've enrolled myself in.

a couple of weeks ago, we shot the summer 2010 lookbook in an auto junkyard in oceanside. it was hot and dusty, to say the least, but the pictures were perfection. our model and hair/makeup were amazing, the photographer was on point, and i like to think the styling was handled beautifully.

at next modeling agency for the photoshoot casting. no, i won't be getting "discovered" anytime soon.

last friday, we held an event at the logan riese boutique on robertson boulevard, to preview the summer collection for press, buyers, and stylists. cocktails were flowing pretty early on in the day, which is always a fun little touch. a ton of people stopped by; a great outcome overall. i met some pretty cool writers and bloggers too. nicole's line will definitely end up in even more magazines, industry papers, and blogs, as the editorial appeal of the swimsuits are undeniable.

the summer collection is pure americana goodness. we've only launched it a month or so ago, and people are already freaking out over the suits. i have no doubt that nicole's business will explode in the coming year, and i am so happy and blessed to have been a small part of it.
