i'm not in love, but i remember how it feels. you can't eat, you can't sleep, you feel constantly dizzy, you're in your own little world. these dan estabrook prints have been favorites of mine for a while. i just love how unfiltered they are, and they say a lot with so little. there are so many studies about the physics of love, so many scientific components to falling in and out of it. they talk about how phenylethylamine (the "love molecule") and how it can be triggered just by locking eyes or touching hands with someone. dan estabrook definitely puts them in simpler terms, but they are just as poignant. i wish i could buy all nine of these photos and frame them in rows, or down a hallway. just a great, simple reminder of how falling in love can make you feel.
