i just wanted to quickly share the bra-zilliance that is alexander wang's 2010 resort collection. i don't even know who i'll be in 2010 but i hope that it's someone cool enough to dress like this. i love the carefree, effortless attitude of his clothes; it makes me want to be the kind of girl that just gets up and maybe does a couple stretches, and then bounces out of bed and puts an outfit together in 30 seconds. right now it takes me about 15 minutes, and i'm pretty sure it's because i have waaaayyy too many choices.

i've been thinking lately of how to simplify my life; seeing our country's obsession with overconsumption has made me want to get down to the bare bones of things, and not have so much "stuff" around. i like that alexander wang's pieces are simple and classic, but still make a big statement. i don't even want to think about how much that chambray collared shirt or those high-waisted silk shorts would run me, so i'll just patiently wait until tuesday, when his collection for the gap hits stores. hopefully i'll be able to achieve the same nonchalant look for half the price. and in 30 seconds or less.
