if i could wear any line, every day, for the rest of my life, it would be thread social. i would actually go as far to say that my bridesmaids' dresses will be thread social. i say that with confidence, not only because my wedding will most likely be more like a cocktail party, but because thread social's array of pieces can all be carefully matched up with each lovely lady. you want something blousy and strapless, amanda? you got it. you'd rather wear a structured one-shoulder with a tulip hem, alana? no problem. and as far as miss ashley goes - let's just say, the shorter the better.
pc: thread social
what i love most about thread social's frocks (i think "frock" is the best way to describe them, don't you agree?) are the silhouettes. they're so girly and fun. the spring/summer collections make me want to host a garden party, or at the very least, attend some ritzy afternoon fĂȘte, where i can drink white wine and risk getting my heels stuck in the grass.
fall's styles, on the other hand, bring about an urge in me to move to manhattan and become a successful art gallery owner. it's definitely bringing out the charlotte york-macdougal-goldenblatt in me. as said gallery owner, i need something fabulous that can take me from a day at the office to an evening of cocktails, or a hot date with an entertainment lawyer, even. now i'm really stretching the imagination.
yes, one day i'll be able to afford a thread social original, but for now i'll just have to be content with sitting, dreaming, and scouring ebay for a good-quality castoff.
