my weeklong trip to san francisco was a huge success. i went on a job interview (outcome still pending), met lots of new friends, and explored the city. i know now more than ever that san francisco is where i want to be. i can't wait to go back for good.
walking around the mission district. totally in love with belljar.
having drinks at underground sf.
my rainy saturday afternoon stroll.
fun times, wine, and soul music at hemlock and edinburgh.
fries and beer at frjtz in hayes valley (my new favorite neighborhood).
my trivia night recruits, ali and barrett.
"beer me."
we didn't win. but i think with a little more studying and a lot less PBR, we can take it next time for sure.
i can't thank allie enough for being such a fantastic hostess. i know it's not easy to accommodate and entertain a guest for seven days, but she was amazing. she showed me around the various neighborhoods of the city, made me dinner, indulged my diet coke obsession, introduced me to all her friends, and let me turn her bedroom into a sauna during the chilly nights. she made me feel incredibly welcome in her home, and i'm so grateful to have her as a friend.
i'm so excited to relocate. my bags are practically packed, and i've already got the flowers in my hair.
